Typical Environmental Compliance Services

Ad-hoc Compliance Advice

Cleanship is the main point of contact for numerous shipowners worldwide when it comes to environmental compliance advice - particularly for ballast water management, IMO 2020 and Ship Recycling.

Our in-house specialists are always on hand to provide expert advice on specific compliance challenges, providing bespoke and tailored advice to each client individually.

This commitment to acting as shipowners trusted advocate has been a pillar of our company since our formation in 2012.

Retrofit Feasibility Studies

Cleanship regularly undertakes retrofit feasibility studies for shipowners looking for assistance in selecting the most suitable equipment for their vessels.

For complex rtrofit projects such as ballast water treatment or scrubbers, we have developed in-house comparison algorithms, which enable us to quickly and objectively compare all available systems and technologies for a specific vessel.

Similarly, we are leading the way with bespoke feasibility studies for future technologies - such as wind assisted propulsion, battery power and more.

Shipowners Representative

Cleanship regularly works directly with shipowners who are facing challenges with their ongoing compliance projects.

This assistance can range from third party design review on complex retrofit engineering drawing packages - a common request where shipowners are uncertain over the quality or reliability of shipyard and/or manufacturer provided drawing packages - to onsite attendance during the retrofit installation itself.

In each case, Cleanship's role is generally acting as the shipowners trusted advocate and protecting their interests.
